We are a research group based at Queen's University (Kingston, Ontario, Canada). We solve materials science and engineering problems by using and developing computational methods based on physical chemistry, quantum mechanics, statistical physics, solid mechanics and mathematical modeling. We are interested in modeling materials across length and time scales, from the scale of nanometers to the scale of meters.
Our group works closely with the other Queen's researchers and professors, especially those part of the Reactor Materials Testing Laboratory. Since our work involves the use of supercomputing, we also interact with the Center for Advanced Computing, which is a member of Compute Canada.
